Key features and technical specification:
  • Purpose and Flex: Soft, very natural flex rated 3 out of 10. This characteristic forgives mistakes, eases learning, and is desired for freestyle riding and relaxed slope surfing.
  • Fit System: The boots feature a single Single BOA system. This construction is optimized by integrating zonal guides (Power Zone) and a quick release system. One turn of the dial evenly tightens the lace from the toes to the top of the upper, allowing for fast and effortless putting on and taking off of the boots.
  • Asym Cut & Lace Closer Construction: Asymmetric cuts of the outer shell adapt to the natural direction of foot bending, eliminating pressure points and allowing the boot to smoothly follow the movement of the legs during turns.
  • The Power Hook system (in Japanese specifications also referred to as the Powerzone & Releasable Guide element configuration) is a mechanical solution in boots with the Single BOA system, which solves the problem of the so-called "floating heel" for people with narrow feet or low arches. 
    It works as follows:
    • Principle of operation: In a standard setting, the single BOA lace tightens the entire boot evenly from the toes to the upper. The Power Hook construction is a special, additional hook/guide placed in the flex zone of the boot (on the arch). 
    • Change of threading: Before tightening the BOA dial, you can deliberately pull the lace through this additional hook. This changes the geometry and layout of the entire tension line (known as the wire layout). 
    • Anatomical effect: When turning the BOA disc, the tension force is redirected and concentrated directly on the midfoot area and in the depth of the ankle joint. The outer boot presses the foot down and back more firmly and deeply, permanently locking the heel in the dedicated insert pocket. 
    As a result, individuals with a finer anatomical foot structure gain stability and precision in controlling the board without having to buy harder or tighter boots. 
Internal Construction (Liner):
  • New F3 Inner Boot: Completely redesigned element equipped with flexible pads around the ankle, facilitating ankle joint bending and ensuring high comfort from the first wear.
  • Thermal and hygienic materials:
    • F GRID Liner: A heat-retaining layer inspired by technologies used in outdoor clothing, which also effectively wicks away moisture.
    • F DRY Liner: An antibacterial material utilizing Japanese paper fibers (washi), exhibiting excellent absorbency properties, which keeps the foot dry and neutralizes unpleasant odors.
  • BMZ-CCLP Insole: Equipped with an advanced, ergonomic technical insole based on the BMZ biomechanical theory. It stabilizes the cuboid bone of the foot, which translates into better energy transfer to the board's edge and less muscle fatigue.
Sole:
  • Stud2 Sole: Lightweight sole with a new tread pattern inspired by the flexibility of skateboard shoes. It provides high mobility, great ground feel, and cushioning in the park and when climbing the slope.
