This splitboard is used, shows normal signs of use, with scratches and minor chips. We did not find any hidden defects in this board. I rate the condition of the edges and base as good.

Telos DST Carbon Splitboard 158 from the 2022/2023 season (DST stands for Direct, Directional, Dual-Swallow-Tail) is one of the lightest and most technologically advanced splitboards on the market. Multiple times awarded the prestigious Editors' Choice by Backcountry Magazine, this model in the Carbon version has been slimmed down to an absolute minimum (weight for size 158 is just about 2.67 kg!). • Directional Shape with Dual Swallow Tail: Directional construction with a slight, functional cut at the rear of the board. In deep powder, this allows for the natural sinking of the tail and effortless lifting of the front of the board. Engineers from the GP87 factory managed to eliminate the main drawback of carbon - the board is not stiff, nervous, or "dead". It moves smoothly and naturally like a classic snowboard while offering unparalleled lightness. 
• Ultralight Precision Core: Selected, vertically laminated paulownia wood combined with bamboo and aluminum stringers. This provides an excellent weight-to-strength ratio and superior shock absorption in varied snow.
• Seamless PU Sidewalls: Seamless polyurethane sidewalls excellently absorb vibrations, which is crucial in lightweight carbon boards, protecting the construction from cracks from edge hits against edges during ascents. 
• ELECTRA Base: Top-class sintered base with high density and graphite additives. Ensures racing acceleration and prevents loss of speed on long, flat backcountry sections. 
• Factory Clips and Guards: The splitboard is equipped with top-quality locks and clips (Phantom Hercules or Karakoram) ensuring a rigid connection of both board halves. The heels are protected with aluminum guards (Aluminum Tail Protection) protecting against delamination when inserting the board into the snow.
