This board is used and shows normal signs of use. It is one of our demonstration boards used for testing. 

It is in very good condition, sharpened and waxed multiple times. It has PPF foil applied.

Sims Mystery Lunch is a traditional camber, symmetrical twin tip, with early bent ends inspired by the 90s, giving the model a nostalgic aesthetic and style underfoot. The board was designed in collaboration with Team Sims. 

Using many years of experience from numerous riders, a magical board, certainly the Mystery Lunch, was created. The magic of this board lies in the fact that the faster you ride, the harder you edge the board in a turn, the better it holds. When tilted correctly, the board's ends activate, providing support and stability. In line with new trends, this model is quite wide, but this does not pose any problems with strong pop. Neither at low speed nor while edging. This original Sims shape is combined here with the board's great power. The core features three types of wood, bamboo strips, and a 5 cm wide carbon fiber stripe, which ensures that the Mystery has pop, adhesion, and stability. The edge grip is strong enough that downsizing is recommended here, meaning choosing a smaller size than usual. This board is equipped with the fast and durable sintered Premium Racing base. 

Mystery Lunch is a board for aggressive riding for those who like symmetrical boards. With freestyle, you can do everything on it, from rails, flat tricks to jumps or halfpipe. The riding properties here are at the company's fame level. Balanced damping and strong edge grip make it easier to enjoy carving games and tricks started or finished on the edge. The pop generated by bamboo and carbon makes riding this board a joy. Stability, damping, and quick response.

Traditional Camber

A single convex arc between the contact points of the board ensures predictable edge hold, load, and rebound during pressure exertion and release during the rider's turn.

Core MOD4

A unique blend of poplar, bamboo, and paulownia wood in a balanced set makes this core lighter and provides stronger pop, greater durability, and a lively feel.

Tip to Tail Construction

This is a traditional construction characterized by a full wood core from tip to tail, providing smooth ride, stability, and durability.

Sintered Premium Racing Base

This base uses high-density and high-speed base material selected for its molecular weight, providing unparalleled speed, excellent wear resistance, and increased wax permeability. 

Tri-Tex Fiberglass

Our most advanced matrix is a 3-directional layout that combines lightweight fiberglass at 0°, 45°, and 90°, providing undisputed pop, rebound, flexibility, and torsion in our highest performing boards.

About the Company

Sims snowboards is a legendary company founded in 1963. It was created by Tom Sims, just like he created the first snowboard and snowboarder. He dug the first halfpipe, lobbied the skiing community to let us on the lifts, organized the first competitions, built the first professional Team (Tom, Craig Kelly, Kidwell, Salasnek, Palmer). His visions are today's snowboarding. 

As early as the 60s, Tom Sims was exploring ideas to combine skateboarding and surfing with snow. In his school workshop in seventh grade in Haddonfield, New Jersey, Tom hand-built the first snowboard. This board is now on display at the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum in Vail, Colorado. In 1963, Tom founded the SIMS brand; arguably the first surfing, skate, and snow brand in the world. 

Not skiing, but surfing and skateboarding. These were Tom's roots and informed his entire approach to snowboarding. The distinction was crucial. For SIMS, it was always about freestyle and fun. Not scoring points. And growing outward from this utopian vision of self-expression through radical actions, the culture flourished. 

From the beginning, Sims relied on riders to guide and develop every product. This is an inclusive DIY approach that sets the standard, enabling progress in everything from building and manufacturing innovations to technological and product breakthroughs that changed the paradigm. The first board with metal edges, the first pro model; the first bindings with a double strap, the first folding highback, the first women's board, and so on. For decades. Today, SIMS exists to celebrate the past, support progress in the present, and push snowboarding forward into the future. Dedicated to the culture and those who live to ride, we pay homage to our founder, Tom Sims, and his inspired vision of life on snowboards.
